Baramulti Group has mining operation companies; two in South Kalimantan, three in East Kalimantan, and six company in South Sumatera.

History

Established as a coal trading company in 1988, Baramulti Group today has grown into a group with multiple business lines, namely Coal Mining, Coal Shipping & Logistics, and Coal Trading.
The Group has expanded its coal mining assets to cover 11 coal concessions which is spread in multiple locations located in the island of kalimantan and sumatera. These coal assets have bolstered the Group's strength in the Asian coal market with a 3.6billion MT of coal resources and diverse coal specification, thus allowing the Group to serve various market demands.


Milestone of Baramulti

1988

Established coal trading company under the name of PT. Ensicon Indonesia

1992

Acquired its first coal mine concession in Malinau, East Kalimantan
MA Obtained Mining Right in Bulungan, East Kalimantan

1995

Acquired 50% stake of AGM, a CCoW company in South Kalimantan

1997

BAS was awarded a CCoW

1998

BSSR was granted exploration Mining Right

1999

SKB obtained a CCoW for Binuang mine

March 2000

BMSS established in March 2000

2005

IBSP and SMP was granted Mining Right

East Kalimantan Site

Comfortably located in the middle of 3 major cities in East kalimantan (Samarinda, Balikpapan, and Tenggarong) the area of Loa Jenan is the perfect location and hub to transport our lower calorific value coals. This area of East Kalimantan also opens up our future of coal transport in harnessing the vast and natural potential of the river Mahakam.

The coal assets have bolstered the Group's strength in Asian coal market with diverse coal specification, allowing the group to serve various market demands.
